Every window is built to the measurements we take in your home. Here is what each style does well.
Slider
One sash glides sideways. The most common style in Valley homes and the easiest to operate.
Single-hung
The bottom sash lifts, the top stays fixed. Clean, traditional look for bedrooms and fronts.
Picture
Fixed glass with nothing to open. The biggest view and the tightest seal against heat.
Casement
Hinged on the side and cranks outward. Catches a breeze and seals hard when closed.
Awning
Hinged at the top and opens out. Good over tubs and counters, and sheds a monsoon shower.

Doors
Turn the back wall into the best part of the house.
A dragging patio slider is the most common reason people call us. Replacing it is also the easiest way to change how a home feels.
Pocket door
Panels slide into a cavity in the wall and disappear. Needs framing work, which we handle.
Best for remodels where the opening can be rebuilt
Hinged French
Two swinging doors with a classic look. A tighter seal than most older sliders.
Best for traditional and Santa Barbara-style homes
Entry doors
Fiberglass, steel and glass, or oversized pivot doors. Insulated cores stand up to direct afternoon sun.

In Phoenix, SHGC is the number to watch. ENERGY STAR's southern zone requires an SHGC of 0.23 or lower. Tempered glass is required by code near doors, tubs and floors, and bathrooms usually get obscure glass. We spec both during measurement.
Installation
Two ways to install. We'll tell you which one your house needs.
Most stucco homes in the Valley can take a retrofit window with no exterior patching. Sometimes the old frame has to come out.
Retrofit (insert)
- New window fits inside the existing frame
- No stucco cutting or drywall repair
- Fastest and lowest cost, often one day for a whole house
- Glass area shrinks slightly because the old frame stays
Full-frame replacement
- Old frame is removed down to the rough opening
- Lets us fix rot, water damage or bad flashing
- Required to resize an opening or add a larger door
- Includes stucco and interior patch work, which we do in-house

What we look for on a walkthrough.
Fog between the panes
The seal has failed and the insulating gas is gone. It won't clear up on its own.
Glass is hot to the touch
If you can feel heat off the glass on a summer afternoon, the room is absorbing it too.
Dust on the sill after a storm
Monsoon dust getting inside means air is getting inside, and cooled air is leaking out.
A slider you have to fight
Worn rollers and bent tracks are common on older aluminum doors, and locks stop lining up.
Faded floors and furniture
Clear glass lets through UV that bleaches wood, rugs and fabric near the window.
Blackout curtains all summer
If the blinds stay shut from June to September to fight the heat, the glass isn't doing its job.

How much do replacement windows cost?
It depends on the number of openings, the frame material, the glass package, and whether we can retrofit or need a full-frame install. We give you exact written pricing on three options at the first visit, so you never wait on a quote.
Will new windows lower my electric bill?
Replacing single-pane or clear dual-pane glass with Low-E glass cuts the heat coming in, which gives your AC less work. How much you save depends on your home, orientation and usage, so we won't promise a number. Most people notice the difference in their west-facing rooms the first summer.
Is there a tax credit for new windows?
The federal energy tax credit for windows and doors ended after 2025. We'll tell you about any current utility rebates we know apply to your project during the visit.
Do I need HOA approval?
Many Valley HOAs require approval if you change a window's color, grid pattern or size. We provide the product specs and color samples you need for the application.
Will you damage my stucco?
Retrofit installs don't touch the stucco. If a full-frame install is needed, we tell you up front and handle the stucco and drywall repair ourselves.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing is available on approved credit, and you can apply during the visit with a soft credit check. Pay-in-full by cash or check works too.
What about the warranty?
Every product carries the manufacturer's warranty, and we warranty our installation labor separately. You get both in writing at the walkthrough.
